Lyndsey Morris-Paranzino

About me:

Lyndsey has been diving since 2017 and has been an active instructor since 2021. When not teaching, Lyndsey is also a paramedic. She enjoys all things rescue and first response, she enjoys pushing herself to become better a better instructor every day.  When in the ocean, Lyndsey loves diving with sharks. Her love for diving came when she was young, she grew up In West Virginia. On the weekends as a young kid, she would stay on a boat at Summersville Lake. One weekend, she was riding the jet ski and lost her glasses. Her father was able to gear up and recover her glasses in limited visibility water, that’s when Lyndsey discovered her interest in scuba.

Lyndsey loves being an instructor and introducing new divers to the wonders of the underwater world. She enjoys showing students different environments and how to be a guest in the underwater creatures' world. She wants to educate as many students as possible and help bring awareness to the ocean/reef conditions.

Diving Since: 2017

Dive Professional Since:  2021

Fun Fact: When I first started diving, I had a horrible fear of freshwater fish!

Most Memorable Dive Moment:  When I was solo diving, I had a small bass following me around on my dive. I named it Sebastian. Every time I turned around, he was there behind me. For some silly reason, I felt safer with him there.

Favorite Course to Teach or Assist:  Night/Limited Visibility Diver

Favorite Place to Dive:  Lemon Drop at Jupiter Dive Center in Jupiter FL. The dive consisted of drift diving at 90ft surrounded by Lemon Sharks. The experience was unlike any other.

Bucket List Destination:  Being able to dive with Great White Sharks, maybe in Australia :)
