Cleanup Event
Join Aquatic Adventures Ohio for the Blue Limestone Park Snorkel Cleanup on June 27, 2026, in Delaware. This volunteer event—the first of its kind in the Central Ohio area—brings together trained snorkelers, certified divers, and community volunteers to remove debris from the quarry pond and surrounding shoreline while promoting environmental stewardship and responsible water practices.
Snorkelers will serve as the primary cleanup team, working in organized buddy pairs and small groups to recover accessible debris in shallow water, while dive professionals support operations by handling larger or more complex items. Surface volunteers will assist with shoreline cleanup, debris collection, and sorting.
Due to water conditions and safety requirements, in-water participants must be certified divers, freedivers, or have completed a snorkeling course, ensuring a controlled and safety-focused environment. Whether you're joining in the water or supporting from shore, this event is a great opportunity to give back to the community and help protect our local waterways.
