Frequently Asked Questions:
How does the program work?
We work directly with the High School Biology teacher and school leadership to customize the program to the school's needs. From Aquatic Adventures Ohio, you can expect:
- Personalized scuba gear fitting
- Mask, snorkel, boots and fins purchase required
- All other gear is provided for class
- Open Water Diver Certification for all students
- 10 hours of online academics at the students' pace

What time of year works best for this program?
We recommend aligning the trip with a school break - Thanksgiving, Christmas or Spring Break. Some schools do choose a week outside of holidays for better trip pricing. We would want to start planning the trip at least 6 months in advance to a year, so we get the best pricing and can coordinate all activities.
How long does the program take to complete?
From start to finish, approximately 6-8 weeks to leave enough time for all activities and any potential make-up classes. We want to start the fitting process about 8 weeks before the planned trip.
How much does the program cost?
The cost of the program depends on the schools needs, number of students, timing of the trip and chosen accommodations. We are happy to provide a custom quote for your school. Please reach out to us at training@aquaticadventuresohio.com or 614-545-DIVE to start the process.
