Advanced Adventure Diver
SDI's Advanced Adventure Diver course is designed to enhance a diver's skills and experience underwater. The course requires two of the five specialty dives to be deep diving and underwater navigation. The other three specialty dives can be chosen by the student and instructor and may include night diving, wreck diving, and others. The course emphasizes advanced diving techniques, such as proper buoyancy control, dive planning, and emergency procedures. Upon completion of the course, students will have expanded their diving skills and be certified to dive up to 30 meters/100 feet.
This course builds on the curriculum learned in Open Water certification, and helps divers develop new capabilities.
