Discover Choptima CCR
Take your first breath on a rebreather
Curious about rebreathers but not ready to commit to a full certification course? The Discover Choptima CCR Experience is designed to introduce qualified divers to the fundamentals of closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) diving using the Choptima system in a controlled, instructor-led environment.
This is your opportunity to experience extended breathing gas efficiency, silent diving, and warm, humid breathing gas—without bubbles.

What is the Choptima CCR?
The Choptima CCR is a chest-mounted version of the well-known O2ptima platform. Unlike traditional open-circuit scuba, a CCR recycles your breathing gas by removing carbon dioxide and replenishing oxygen—allowing for:
- Significantly longer dive times
- Minimal gas consumption
- Near-silent operation (no bubbles)
- Optimized breathing gas throughout the dive
This configuration keeps the unit streamlined and accessible, making it ideal for training and controlled environments.
