The SDI Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) class is a comprehensive training program that provides individuals with the knowledge and skills required to use underwater scooters or DPVs effectively in non overhead environments. The class is designed to teach divers how to operate DPVs with confidence and efficiency. The curriculum includes lessons on the proper use of DPVs, various techniques for diving with them, and emergency procedures to follow in case of any malfunctions. Additionally, students will learn how to maintain their DPVs, ensuring they remain in top working condition. After successfully completing the course, students receive certification as SDI DPV Divers, which acknowledges their competence in the responsible use of DPVs. The certification allows divers to use DPVs on their dives, adding an extra level of excitement and exploration to their underwater adventures.
