Sidemount Diver

The SDI Sidemount Diver certification is a course designed to teach divers the unique approach of carrying scuba tanks at their sides rather than on their backs. This configuration offers enhanced maneuverability and can be a more comfortable option for various divers.

During the course, students learn about the specific equipment used in sidemount diving, including how to properly configure and balance the tanks. They also study the different techniques for entering and exiting the water, managing gas, and handling potential underwater emergencies.
