Hello Adventurers,
We did it! We are fully moved into our new location at 2050 Crown Plaza Dr, Columbus, OH 43235 and have returned to normal hours. Anyone who stops by the shop through 1/20 can spin the prize wheel to win FREE GEAR!
The timeline of this move, less than 90 days, has been the most challenging experience of my career. There is no way we would have been able to achieve all we did without the many volunteers from our community.
During pre-move, we had close to 30 people help us pack up the entire shop ahead of schedule. Then during the move, we had another 10-15 people helping us at any one time. The generosity had me tearing up at times and I can’t express how grateful I am. You can see videos documenting the magic here on Facebook. I will be spoiling these volunteers during our grand opening in the spring and also for a special experience this summer at Apple Valley Lake.
I know of 4 dive shops in Ohio that have closed in the past 6 months. This business has endured so many challenges over recent years and is still recovering from the effects of those challenges. What gives me great hope and confidence that we will stand the test of time is the strength of our community. Thank you, truly.
Gear Service
We are now accepting gear for service again! However, one of our first customers will be the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. We service all of their gear this time of year.
Therefore, we are dedicating more resources to the service department to ensure we can handle their needs along side all other customer needs across the business.
Thank you for your patience over the next 2-3 months as we get through this busy work load.
Classes
The winter months are the perfect time for the following classes:
- Open Water Diver - finish your academics and confined water during the winter so you are ready to go come open water season in May. OR, join us in Roatan for free certification dives!
- Dry Suit Diver - spots open on 1/28. Enjoy diving all year round and in some of the most gorgeous global locations like Iceland, the Pacific Northwest, and Alaska.
- Advanced Buoyancy - This class involves just one pool session with no academics. Perfect wintertime escape for a few hours with friends.
- Computer Nitrox - this is a classroom only session, so perfect to cross off during winter in preparation for your next trip or even a Deep class during Ohio open water season.

Travel Updates
Our Maldives travelers are finishing up one epic trip. I’m excited to see all the pictures and videos of their unbelievable encounters with whale sharks manta rays. We had so much interest for this destination so we will be sure to offer another in the next 2 years.
Cozumel in February and St Croix in March are now sold out. It’s so wonderful seeing our trips do so well! If you’d like to be added to the waitlist for either trip, please complete a registration form and we can keep you updated.
We still have plenty of spots open for the Roatan trip April 20-27th. This trip is now led by our instructor, Paul Marquardt. We have 2 class promotions for this trip:
- Free certification dives for anyone completing their open water diver certification
- We are also offering 20% off all specialties during this trip. Night, Deep and Navigation are all great options.

We are up to 12 people so far going to Greece in September. We do have limited rooms available at current pricing, so I highly encourage you to indicate your interest ASAP if you’re considering joining us. We do have payment plans available and can likely work with your needs so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with questions.
