Hello Adventurers,

I hope you've had a wonderful July so far. Sadly, I had to miss out on the Whitestar camping weekend, due to having COVID, but it sounds like a smashing success. I've really enjoyed seeing how active you all are diving this summer - whether locally or globally. 

We also got to celebrate one of our own becoming a dive master, Justin Logan, under the instruction of Tim Brown. Congrats, Justin - we are so proud of you! 

And thank you to those who joined us at the shop to learn how to become a pro. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you missed it, we are always recruiting.

We love our pros and try to spoil them any way we can. We are the only shop in town who pay their divemasters, we pay our instructors more per class, we've covered liability insurance where others have not and we offer the best gear deals.

If you've started your pro journey with someone else, no worries - you can always cross over to SDI knowing you will be greatly appreciated as a part of our team. 

Class Updates  

We now have weeknight confined water class options available - as well as equipment checks. On Wednesdays through August, we are at the Columbus North Athletic Club. Then we are back at Hydra Aquatics located at Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick starting in September!

Travel Updates 

Once again we are sold out for the December Belize trip. If you would like to join the waitlist, you can do so here on this webpage. 

I'm very glad we were able to secure good pricing for the January Bahamas trip before flight prices escalated. This trip offers international airfare, 7 night all-inclusive stay, 10 boat dives and more! Sign up here on this webpage. 

Flight costs are the big holdup right now in securing 1-2 additional trips in early 2025. We expect flights prices to drop here soon and we will jump on securing additional trips at that time. 

As mentioned on Facebook, we are considering a Mexico Cento dive trip in February but need 10 divers interested by the end of this week to secure the trip. With airfare, all-inclusive accommodations, 4 days of cenote diving and 1 day of ocean diving the price is $3,200*. Please email me at kmurphy@aaoscuba.com ASAP if interested!

What we do have secured for later 2025 is a trip to the Florida Keys on the Juliet in August. That webpage is ready for booking here. We've already sold several rooms and anticipate this one selling out fast. 

We have also secured St Lucia for September and Little Cayman for November. Those webpages will be available for you soon.

Events 

The Aquatic Adventures Dive Club Gilboa camping weekend is coming up August 9-11. Be sure to reserve your camping spot ASAP if you'd like to join. New and experienced divers are invited.
