Hello Adventurers,
I hope your 2025 is off to a great start, ours certainly is at the shop! We haven't been this busy since 2023, which was a record year for new certifications of all types.
It's now been a year since we moved locations and changed our training operations. It was a big change and very stressful for our team - certainly one of the most stressful times of my life.
When I think back on the year, I only have pride and love in my heart. Pride in our team and all that we were able to accomplish together. And love for the support shown throughout our community and the friendships that have been made in the process.
We wouldn't be here without you and I will thank you endlessly. Now it's time to have some fun and see what this community can accomplish together during a year of growth instead of adversity.

Travel Updates
The December Belize trip was one of the largest trips we've had in the shop's history. I certainly had my worries, it was a lot of pressure, but our team did a spectacular job. I was bummed to miss out on some of the amazing experiences shared during the trip, both underwater and above. Big thanks to Christian, Tim, Consuelo and Mike for making that trip so wonderful!
Below is our trip lineup for 2025 with updates. The Dive Club also has some wonderful domestic trips planned, thanks to Denny Stephens' dedication. The first one up is Bonne Terre Mine, March 22nd, so be sure to jump on that if you're interested.
April: Turks & Caicos - we may still be able to get you in, if you're intersted
July: Azores and Portugal - we will be finalizing this trip in February, so don't wait to register!
August: Floriday Keys on the beloved Juliet - 5 spots left!
September: St Lucia - sold out!
November: Little Cayman - plenty of spots available, one of my fav dive spots

Class Updates
After a year of learning and trying out different facilities, we have moved all of our training operations to Columbus North Athletic Club, located at 888 E Dublin Granville Rd. This has allowed us to standardize our training operations, to around every other weekend, and offers the highest quality experience for both our customers and pro team. We are very thankful for the partnership and excited to see what we can accomplish there this year.
If you or a loved one have been thinking of becoming an Open Water Diver, I recommend signing up for a class quickly. As I mentioned, we've been very busy and are almost booked up through march. You can sign up for classes through May and we hope to have the open water certification schedule available by my next newsletter.

- Drysuit Diver
- Advanced Buoyancy Control Diver
- Computer Nitrox Diver or TDI Nitrox
- Equipment Specialist Diver
- Marine Ecosystem Awareness
Been a year or more since your last dive? We offer two options:
- If it's been about a year, splash in for an unsupervised dive at the pool called an equipment check
- If it's been 2 years or more, you are required to complete a Scuba Review course before going on your next trip
Events
Our next Crittier Chat will be March 25th, focused on Turks & Caicos. There is no cost to these events, but we do have a registration limit. Sign up here.
