Hello Adventurers,

Happy Spring! I really hope this message finds you well and enjoying some of this spring weather. Mac, my bulldog, and I certainly have.

Many of you have been inquiring about his health, thank you for that. He is mostly fully recovered, but does still have some shoulder issues due to complications from surgery. My husband, Conner, and I are relieved that he can play and walk to his hearts content, even with a little soreness after.

I've got some updates for you and also a call for help:

School Program - calling all Biology high school teachers!

We are expanding our school program offering where we certify a group of 15-20 students, lead a trip to Bonaire and help them tie the experience into their Biology curriculum.

The students complete their academics and confined water training with us here in Ohio and then we take them to Bonaire to complete their open water certification dives lead by our instructors.

We have received such great feedback from our school partners, like Wellington, the students that have participated and their families. I'm looking to connect with biology teachers for grades 11 and 12 in the area. I'll take other school contacts too, if you have them. Please reply to this message with interest!

Open Water Season

Open water season starts in May (weather dependent) and we already have classes you can sign up for May June through September!

Dry Suit Diver - get your season started early - spots available in April!
Open Water Diver Certification Dives – remember, you have a year from when you started our academics to complete your certification. Some weekends are already selling out so be sure to sign up quickly!
Advanced Adventure Diver – Great for new divers looking to accelerate their skill development. This class involves some online academics followed by 5 open water dives over 2 days at Gilboa. You will learn skills in deep, navigation, night, buoyancy plus search and recovery.
Deep Diver
Rescue Diver
Total Diver

Classroom and pool-only classes:

Equipment Check's are also available if you need to splash in.

Travel Updates

August: Florida Keys on the beloved Juliet - 4 spots left. This is a great trip for new divers. I highly encourage those completing their open water certification to sign up for this trip.

September: St Lucia - sold out!

November: Little Cayman - concierge diving - such a great trip!

February 2026: St Croix on the Juliet - now available!

May 20206: Bonaire Tech week - NEW!

Our next Critter Chat will be March 25th, focused on Turks & Caicos. There is no cost to these events, but we do have a registration limit. Sign up here.

The next Dive Club Meetup will be at 6:30pm on Thursday April 3rd at Louie's Bar & Grill in Hilliard.
